Additional information concerning all piercings:

  • Do NOT soak your new piercings in bathtubs, pools, jacuzzi’s, lakes, rivers, oceans or any other bodies of water. SHOWERS ONLY!

  • Avoid sleeping on new piercings or causing any additional trauma to them.

  • Each of your piercings may take a longer or shorter period of time to heal thoroughly. Be patient and continue following these Aftercare Instructions until your piercing is entirely healed all the way through. Even though it may seem healed on the outside, the inside may still be healing.

  • Significant swelling, light bleeding and some bruising with tenderness for the first 3 to 5 days, is normal. This timetable may vary from one individual to another and from one particular piercing to another.

  • There will likely be a small amount of discharge during the initial healing process. The H2Ocean Aftercare Spray and H2Ocean Aftercare Mouthwash will help break down any of the dried residue from this discharge and keep the hole open allowing a channel for replaced cells to move through, which should prevent a backup and ensure the smoothest possible healing process.

  • Please call or drop in with any questions or concerns immediately. Don’t wait till it’s too late. :) Aloha!

Tattoo Aftercare

Remove bandage in a couple of hours and wash with Opti-Scrub or other approved Antimicrobial Soap 4 times daily for 2 weeks. Wash your hands first and use your fingertips. Do NOT use a rag, washcloth, loofah scrubing sponge or anything but your bare hands.

In a couple of days, start applying a light layer of  Ohana Organic's Tattoo Butter 4 times daily after washing for the remainder of the 2 weeks. Apply a light thin layer multiple times a day and more often in dryer climates.

No beach, pools, tub baths, soaking, picking or scratching!

Keep it out of the sun. Direct sunlight on a fresh tattoo will cause pain and possible damage to your new tattoo.

Your new tattoo will go through an ugly phase where it may all seem to be coming off. It wont :) It will still be there after the inital scabbing comes off if there is any.

Call A.S.A.P with any and all questions. Mahalo and ALOHA!
